June 1st (7-16 years)
Chicago Shark Soccer Club try-outs will be held on Saturday, from 9-11am at Dunbar Park.
We welcome all new players wishing to potentially play this fall; boys & girls, ages 7-16 years.
All current and new players looking to play in the fall are expected to attend.
The age groups and times are as follows:
U7-8’s: 9:00 – 10:00am (Field 1 & 2)
U9-10’s: 9:00 – 10:00am (Field 3 & 4)
U11-12’s: 10:00 – 11:00am (Field 1 & 2)
U13-14’s: 10:00 – 11:00am (Field 3)
U15-16’s 10:00 – 11:00am (Field 4)

U11-12 Boys Practice & Game Cancelled
Game Cancelled:
Just been confirmed that tomorrow’s away game against FVSC Power has been cancelled as they were powerless to prevent the flood hit fields (please pardon the pun!). The game will be rescheduled shortly for a later date and you will be notified.
Practice Cancelled:
Considering todays re-arranged practice was set in preparation for tomorrow’s game and now given it has been cancelled, plus the added fact the weather is expected to be a bitter 32 degs with wind and rain chill this evening, practice has also been cancelled and will be made up as either a 3rd or extended practice within the next 2 weeks.
Lets hope for better weather next week and in the mean time have a good weekend.

Today's Practices Cancelled & Weekends Games
As predicted, all practices today will unfortunately be cancelled due to the expected scattered T-Showers and T-Storms over the course of the entire day. It will be unsafe for the players and coaches to practice in the current circumstances.
Unfortunately, the teams will be having to go into the weekend games having missed their 2nd practice this week (except for U11-12 Boys), but we will look to have these practices made up in the next week or two when the weather improves. As a result, we ask for players to arrive at LEAST 45 minutes prior to their game in order for the coach to get across key match points.
U11-12 Boys will still practice tomorrow (Friday) 5:30-6:45pm. If weather continues to be bad for tomorrow, you will receive an email this time tomorrow.

Todays Practices Postponed: Re-arrangements Announced
There is a severe weather storm warning for today, therefore we have had to re-schedule todays practices for tomorrow and Friday (see schedule below). The forecast for tomorrow is showing possible bad weather too so look out for the email tomorrow in the event of re-scheduling again.

U8-9 Boys (Coach Zac * Ass. Coach Kurt will be taking session)
Thursday 6:15-7:30pm
U11 Girls (Coach Matt)
Friday 5:30-6:45pm:
U11-12 Boys (Coach Sean)
**Coach Sean has made this practice mandatory for club players to attend in preparation for Saturday’s 1st game.
Todays Practices Postponed and Re-arrangements
All practices today have been postponed due to the bad weather. The park fields are closed as of the laying water and expected lightning and thunder later.
Parent managers, can you please send this out to your team also.

U8 Boys (Coach Matt): Friday 12th, 5-6:15pm
U8-9 Boys (Coach Zac): Saturday 13th, 11am-12:15pm
U11 Girls (Coach Matt): Thursday 11th, 6:15-7:30pm
U11-12 Boys (Coach Sean): Saturday 13th, 11am-12:15pm
Also, a reminder that all players are required to wear practice uniforms and bring their soccer ball at practices, but also dress warmly with gloves if necessary (no hands in pockets while training!).
